On September 2, Ricky Donnell Abner, 44, and Charay Lamont Trent, 43, were convicted on drug conspiracy and weapon charges, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Between January 2016 and January 2021, ringleader of the operation Jermel "Jan" Storey distributed large amounts of cocaine, that he received from Texas, to a network of drug dealers, right out of his Lynchburg home, authorities said.
Even after he moved to North Carolina, Storey continued to meet up with co-conspirators would distribute sell the drugs throughout central Virginia, officials reported.
Storey and 13 other individuals pled guilty for their involvement in the massive drug conspiracy, the Attorney's Office said.
